How do I write good feedback?

Good feedback is specific, honest, and constructive. Artists are paying to hear your genuine opinion as someone who manages a real playlist — not just a yes or no.

What to include

  • Your decision — are you adding the track or passing on it?
  • The reason — what specifically works or does not fit your playlist
  • Something useful — even a brief comment on production, vibe, or genre fit gives the artist something to work with

Examples of good feedback

  • "Great energy and the production is clean, but the tempo is too fast for my chill playlist. Would fit better on a high-energy workout playlist."
  • "Added it. The mood fits perfectly with the current direction of my playlist and the mix is excellent."
  • "Strong vocals but the genre leans more country than the indie pop my listeners expect. Not the right fit for now."

What to avoid

  • One-word responses like "not my style" without explanation
  • Copy-pasting the same feedback on multiple submissions
  • Feedback that is unrelated to the track

Low-quality reviews may be flagged by artists or our team and can affect your standing on the platform.
